The Mission:

The Mission of the coaching staff is to inspire and develop young athletes so that they are able to realize their goals in life both on and off the field. We approach coaching through what we like to call the “3 E’s” – Energy, Effort and Enthusiasm. This philosophy enables a player to develop both the physical and mental aspects of the game of Fastpitch Softball. Expectations on Commitment: Our staff is dedicated to every athlete within the program. Given that, we expect that same level of commitment in return. We are advocates of players playing in their local recreational leagues, however, we expect that Team NITRO will be their primary Softball commitment.

Program Culture:

We are firm believers in a culture of nurtured accountability. What this means is, we will teach each player what accountability to self and team is about and as they progress in age within our program, the level of accountability changes accordingly. We will be honest, transparent, communicative and consistent in everything we do. We will strive to eliminate any confusion between player/coach and parent. This will be a culture of everyone being on the same page so that the focus can be on the players 100% of the time.
